St. Mary’s Anglican Church has recently partnered with a new group in York Region, the Memory Lane Initiative, to help create opportunities to support individuals and families that are dealing with diagnosis of Dementia and Alzheimer’s.  As Memory Lane works to setup and establish a cooperative style housing program for women with early stage diagnoses of Dementia and Alzheimer’s, we have partnered up at the present time to offer some spiritual programming and fellowship.

Our programs are Friday afternoons at 1 pm in the Chapel at St. Mary’s.  Local Chaplains Tom & Ron (as pictured) are our programming coordinators and come from an extensive background of chaplaincy and spiritual care work, in retirement communities and other areas.  Figures from recent studies indicate that there are over 15,000 people in York Region living with a Dementia Diagnosis.  Join us in sporting those who need to be lifted and loved Friday afternoons.  Guests and visitors are always welcome.  If you require more information, please call Mona at 1-905-876-8666
