The Message is the quartery newsletter of the People of St. Mary’s. It goes out around the Second Sunday of Lent, just before the beginning of summer, the Sunday after Labour Day, and the Second Sunday of Advent to those on the parish list and to a small group of ‘Friends of St. Mary’s’.

The current issue of The Message, Volume 23, Number 1 appeared just before Easter 2012.

Contributions in the form of articles, book reviews, art — line drawings preferred due to the limitations of our printer –  are always welcome.

Advertisers are also welcome. Our current rates are $33.00 per issue plus for a roughly business card-sized placement.

The next issue, Volume 23, Number 1 is scheduled to appear on The Fifth Sunday of Lent, March 25, 2012.

Here is a FINAL reminder that the deadline for this issue was last Wednesday, February 29. I know you have all been hard at work on your submissions — now is the time to put on the final polish and send them in (keeping in mind that we prefer machine-readable material). To anyone who has chaired, helped with, or attended an event since the Christmas issue was published, please consider letting those who were not there know what you did, what you thought about it, or how it contributed to the life of our church. From the silly to the sublime, we’ll take all submissions (although we cannot promise that all will make it into print).
