Julie
- Hi! I'm a fun loving Kiwi (from New Zealand!) - like the bird, not the fruit! My outlook on life is that you should do what you enjoy.
I enjoy playing basketball, watch out, I'm still learning.
I like to watch baseball and football, REAL FOOTBALL . Rugby for the North Americans.
My interests are knitting (let me know if any of the guys want a kitty hat!), writing to friends all over the globe, reading, I enjoy being with my family and keeping in touch with extended family half way around the world.
I work as a Pharmacy technician where I enjoy keeping busy and keeping the other staff hopping! So watch out.
I have a passion for outreach work, sponsoring children, supporting families and children in Romania, making up Christmas boxes and pennies for Habitat for Humanity.
No matter where I am, I'm enjoying myself - work, committees, church and Hang Time!

Tieg -
(To Be Read As A Mad Lib)
Howdy Doody all you rusted tin can lovers!
For those of you who don't know the scrumptously tall Games Master at the
church on the hill top, the beautiful St. Mary's Anglican Church, here
are the most intriguing points. He who must not be named because his name
is too darn long, is only 16 years young, and though we all know that it
is better to be young and over the hill rather than to be buried under
it, he sometimes still wishes that he could be foolishly older (until
that time comes and he wants to be exceptionally younger). Tieg has been
at the church on the hill for ten short and long years. He has come to
know many folks and has always enjoyed their companies. He is actively
involved in many tediously exciting dramatic presentations at his
schools, and has been involved in his faith for some time now. He loves
to act, play games, read The Lord of the Rings (not to mention reciting
and watching the movies), and favourably get to know the children of the
parish, while trying to create a safe but fun learning experience for
them.
He is currently directing a Passion play for the Easter season 2004, and
hopes that all you slippery flapjacks will come out to witness it.

Alison
- Alison: Things I really don't like: beige, titles (don't call me Mrs.
Huber), photo's of myself (no photo attached), goat cheese, WWF, survivor,
beef, leeches, horse flies, motorcycles, movies in general but especially
'Oh Brother, Where Art Thou', socks, cigarette smoke, driving, tweedly music
(I guess some people call it classical), needles (I pass out) and whining.
Things I really do like: bright colours (tangerine and lime green),
vegetables, swimming, Blue Jays baseball, curling, soccer, the cottage,
happy people, Jazzy plum lipstick, pizza, GARDENING, quilting, decorating,
sewing, kids, math (especially calculus), chemistry, comfortable clothes,
sandals, family, Savage Garden, Rod Stewart, reading, word puzzles, and
being in charge (look out everybody!).

Jeff
- My favourite activities are football and ballet. When I'm not busy with sports I enjoy playing my guitar including folk and country music. Electric guitars are just too loud. I also enjoy arts and crafts, especially knitting. This year I knitted everyone in my family a scarf for Christmas. |
Naomi
- Hi, I've been at St. Mary's for almost 5 years. I'm 17 years old and some
of the things that I love to do are............ talking to my friends
(you will never see the day i don't have something to say) ..........
watching movies (the longest i've gone is 3 in one night), knitting (go
Julie!) and listening to jazz.
I really enjoy working with all the great people on the Youth Ministry
Team and am really grateful for the opportunity I am getting to work with
the kids at St. Mary's.

Our Volunteers
Craig
- My name is Craig McFarlane,
As A volunteer for hang time I have managed to loose 5 pounds after every
Wednesday night meeting. However, the problem is during the rest of the week I
manage to gain 6 pounds. The kids that come out to hang time, certainly keep
me on my toes. There is no hanging around with these kids; it's all about the
running!
The kids are also great, when it comes to our short devotions. Although their
full of energy they seem to appreciate the point of the Gospel, especially if
we are teaching about an exciting portion. |
